Hei! Tere! Welcome to the Finland/Estonia Study Abroad program through NC State's College of Education.
The central focus of the program will be to establish research partnerships while also including a number of comparative learning, professional development, and cultural activities. Students will have the opportunity to visit Finnish and Estonian universities and schools to learn more about the intricacies of those educational systems that are generally considered to be among the best in the world. Students will explore a number of cultural and historical sites that will provide a better understanding and appreciation for the host countries.
The course will provide students with a focused but flexible opportunity to engage in collaborative research projects aligned with their research interests. While abroad, students will have research meetings with their identified colleagues, having the opportunity to both present findings from prior work and also to develop proposals for future research investigations.
